Gentlemen & Hotties 6: The Genesis War Empty
PostSubject: Gentlemen & Hotties 6: The Genesis War   Gentlemen & Hotties 6: The Genesis War I_icon_minitimeMon Aug 31, 2009 6:06 am

In the Southern Hemisphere of the planet Tels’vena Lies the Empire of Adora’Luna. At its core sits a great tower, at the top of this tower sits a throne room, and it is here that our story begins….

The obsidian stone walls rose high into finely crafted gothic arches. Red banners hung along the walls, a black tribal wolf head adorning each proclaiming the glory of the Empire. Pillars of black stone lined the hall, each with a long coil of flame reaching from floor to ceiling. All of this leads to a single high staircase that leads to a balcony that overlooked the broken land. It was here that the faceless Emperor of Adora’Luna sat.

The figure on the throne sat facing the fractured landscape. The Emperor was clad in snow white armor; the head was covered in a completely expressionless mask. Horns of steel protruded from the front of the mask menacingly. This person was known as the most powerful being that walked the world. A fierce ruler limited only by its imagination. It sat bored, and restless.

“This world, Shattered and unfinished. How it bores me. This war, this landscape…all of it is nothing. I want more!” the voice was a mix of male and female two voices speaking as one, echoing from inside the steel mask obscuring its face. “How I dream of the day, this world will end, when Syntarin will return to give new life to this dead world.” The face turned as it sensed another presence. “ah, it is you Sylvia what brings you to me now?”

The female officer that approached the throne knelt at the Emperors feet. She was clad in dark black armor, a red cape pooled around her like a torrent of blood. Across her breast hung many decorations of war, She was the head of the Fangstrider Squadron.

“News from the Birthsands emperor; the beast tribes’ resistance is minimal. They are slow to act when picked off at the boarders. An attack on their capital is almost an assured victory.” Her voice was cold and unwavering; she was the leader of an elite group of soldiers who fought the beasts daily, a feat not many could claim.

“Almost?” the emperor’s voice was almost friendly, the question hung on the air like a sword, heavy threatening to annihilate any who dared answer it incorrectly. Sylvia swallowed her voice showing the slightest amount of fear.

“There are rumors of…powerful creatures, unlike any beast in the damned sands. The tribes claim they are….Dragons.” if a smile could be discerned from the emperor; he would be grinning ear to ear.

“my my Syn, you are full of surprises”

--------------------*~*~*----------------------

The story now moves up the core of Tels’Vena to the land of the Birthsands. It is here that beasts rule and the elements run rampant, free to soar in the skies uninhibited by influence. Our tale now looks toward a single life, to ‘The Herald of Elementum’.

A thick muscled warrior ran through an intricate hallway. The stone was washed white, orbs of glowing sap floated in alcoves along the passage lighting the way. The warrior had fur of fiery orange. Black stripes clung to him like cuts in the tapestry that was his coat. He was armor clad and upon his back hung a serrated fang crafted into a sword, a trophy from his hunt in the nightmare plains of Adora’Luna.

Reaching a thick wooden door he would halt, His nose filling with the scents of Jasmine and honeysuckle, Gardenias and Rose. He would blow the scents from his nose and softly knock at the door. From inside he could hear the familiar sounds of nature, exotic birds chirped and somewhere he heard rushing water. It was only a moment before he heard the voice.

“Come in servant of the Tigris tribes” the voice was soft and comforting, like a mother helping her child find the sleep that would carry them into the dreamscape.

The warrior’s ears would twitch as he gently shrugged off the comforting feeling the voice cast over him. Opening the door he would step into a clearing the sun shown down on his orange fur with varying waves of comforting pleasure. The scents assaulted him once more as he took another step into the circular clearing.

This was the realm of the Herald, he told himself as he took yet another step toward the center of the clearing. This circular space was at the height of a great tree, like a tree house it sat amongst the many branches. It was here that he would speak to the birthmother. Legend and reality she was the speaker of the tribes to the mighty Dragons of Elementum it was through her that their prayers were answered.

As the Tigris warrior reached the center of the clearing he heard the voice once more. “Now warrior, speak for your clan and I shall listen, and Listen too shall the council of Elementum your words”

The warrior would kneel holding his sword in front of him point down as he spoke into the woods of the clearing. “I come to warn the council of an attack on the Tribes of Thul’Tzar. The Soldiers of the Dark Emperor have slain scores of villages on the boarder of our lands. I fear they grow to bold and that we should be given the right to strike back at their homes! To kill their children and feed what we find to the animals….I ask permission to ready our armies for war!” the gleaming gold eyes of the Tigris warrior looking up from his sword and into the surrounding forest of branches.

It was then that the Birthmother let herself be seen. Stepping out of the branches as if they where her flesh she would walk barefoot to the warrior. He would quickly look back at the grass at his feet. She wore no clothing but her skin was delicate brown, her hair was torrents of water, the waves cascading down her chest. She would open her eyes and look down at the warrior with eyes of gleaming emerald. With a wave of her hand rocks would cover her in respective places, her armor. Looking to the sky she would quietly respond to the warrior.

“Perhaps it is truly time we chose a side my son…"

---------------------*~*~*------------------------------

The final Prologue can be found in the northern hemisphere. it is here that the Kingdom of Syn’sol rests, a land of light and magic, guided by the council of Light. Within this council sit men who are dedicated to maintaining the will of the forge-father Syntarin, repelling any attack with righteous justice…but even these men aren’t prepared for what is to come on the horizon…

The High Inquisitor would look through the sightless eyes of his helmet at the scene before him. Twisted bits of machinery and a black substance pool on the floor. Two bodies were found in another room of the small home on the outskirts of the coastal city of Heir Crest. He would grimace under his mask as the scent of oil and blood hit his nose. It was the smell of heresy. Stepping around the crumpled mess in the center of the home he would wander to the back of the house. Other soldiers of the Magica Librarium would salute in respect as the inquisitor entered the back room.

Many years on the front lines had taught him to swallow his disgust as he saw the two mangled bodies. One was contorted into odd angles in a corner while the other had simply bled out onto the bed. He knew what he was seeing. These innocent people had been subject to an augmentation. Walking across the room to the contorted body he would kneel down and examine it more closely, his eyes wandering over the cuts and incisions. Until finally he saw the gleam he was looking for. He would place his hand down on the flesh of the victims arm and peel away a small section.

...Gleaming metal shone back from under the boy’s skin.

Leaving the building the inquisitor would remove his helmet to take in the fresh air. He would run his gauntlet through his short military cut blonde hair. Taking a deep breath of the clean air he would open his silver eyes, that was the forth case this year of Augmentation in Syn’sol, Had Adora’Luna’s influence reached this far? He thought to himself as he leaned up against the side of the building.

His name was Gabranth Septim Emorialis, or High Inquisitor Judge Gabranth. trained by the last high inquisitor to serve the council of light in the kingdom of syn'sol gabranth belived he was the hammer of syntarin's wrath in this world and that his purpose was to wipe the heretic from the planet. but dispite his efforts to protect the truth... poeple still defected to the dark metalic faith of the Adora'Luna Emperor.

Shaking his head gabranth would place his helm back onto his head and salute a small group of citiy guards as they entered the house to dispose of the heretic objects within.

For a land of Light...the shadows grew long... was gabranth the only one to stand and fight the shadows cast by the other side of the world?

It was in the early morning that Emily's ever faithful and reliable alarm clock came bounding into her room, flinging his tiny goldenrod furry body onto the lump under the thick layer of blankets. "GOOD MORNING EMILY", Ash would exclaim as he crawled on her from the foot of the bed all the way up to the pillows where he would quickly sneak under the covers and bury himself only to pop his furry head out as he stared at the groggy and tired Emily.

"ahhh Ash, you're on time I see", Emily would mumble softly, reaching out beside her to feel if he was clothed or still in his pajamas. But her feeling quickly turned into tickling and soon the two of them were laughing and more awake. "Ok Ash, lets get you dressed, I would hate for either one of us to be scolded by Sensei for having you not ready on time", she would say with a sweet and tender smile as she pulled the covers back.

The pair went through their morning routine as always, getting dressed and checking the other one out for inspection, having breakfast and then finally brushing teeth. It seemed like today would be like any other day for the both of them as they waited together out in the central square for Sensei Donavan and Sophie.

Cerberus opened his eyes, dim light shone from the hole in the high ceiling. he had been traveling the desert. a normal practice for a wanderer but this time he had somehow fallen into a cave that was as old as the desert itself...what, where, son of a bitch. What have I gotten my self into?

he looked around to find that he was now in the ruins of some ancient temple to the Forge-Father Syntarin. how long had it been since he was so openly worshipped in the birthsands. Before the act of neutrality befell the tribes.
Cerberus tries to stand but a sharp pain runs up his left leg, immediately he knows he’s not going anywhere. To get a better look he rips off the cloth around his leg to examine the wound better. At first site it appears to be nothing major but the more he looks the more he knows its worse then it appears.

“well I better make a splint and get to walking. Not going to find the exit by just sitting around”. He lifts his right hand over the wound and uses his soul to form a sturdy splint. He tries to stand one more time the pain forces him down again, and in one huge grunt he tries one more time and stands almost falling over in the process, but in a split second he forms a staff to keep his balance. He does a slow 360 to see his surroundings. “ Not much to look at, might as well head towards the ruins and see what’s there”.

As he begins to slowly march his way to the ruins he notices its beauty, the ruins where lined with pillars of softly glowing stone, the light reflecting off magical seals within the stone to make it reflect their glow illuminating the chamber. He lets out a long sigh as he looks at the old statue of Syntarin, while observing the statue he reaches to his side and pulls out a small flask. The flask is an odd color of red, dark in certain spots and washed away in others. On front of it is old symbols used by the beast tribes, it reads (Hells Dog). Cerberus unscrews the flask, takes a swig of the liquid inside and looks at the statue one last time. “ Damn almost out, this is going to be a long day”.

Somewhere near the central core, where the Days and Nights are short and often, There is an ancient town rumored to be where the dragonbrood once nested. The dawn had past some time ago, and night falls on the Narrow land.
The duststorms of dusk drive many indoors; the nearby tavern, The Drakefang Inn, reaps the benifits of this daily event. This tavern's lower floor is marred by the many scuff marks of boots and chairs, whilst the tables are laiden with brews and the rings left behind by many mugs. There is a low light fluttered by the wisps of Silkweed smoke and the odor of fermented Necter.
Beasts, brigands and bandits fill this hall; many tables host games of chance and some men simply wish to wash away the hard day's blight.

The doors swing open as a battered Ronso enters. His black, ruffled fur and scarred eye reveil the hard life it can be in the Wastes. Holstering his blade, he walks up to the Barrista.
"Back again tonight, eh?" The Baanga behind the counter said, knowing this Ronso from serveral encounters before.
"I think it's high time to give up on those Sands Bo'Gora," This ruffian Responded, "...There's nothing out there anymore..."
The Baanga patron who sat near the Barrista during his drink interjected, "There's still something out there; You can tell one by the name Se'Gandu found something by looking at him! There's bound ta be more, but he won't tell were he found His loot."
"Where is this Se'Gandu?" the Ronso inquired of the Baanga patron.
"He's selling a table he found in the wastes to the bounty office." The Baanga replied
"What is so special about a table?" The Worn-out Ronso Demanded
The Baanga looked at him oddly, then stated "It was Some kind of wood, and nothing like Syn'Sol has either; Rumor has it that it has something called 'varn-esh' on it. Four or five thousand Teals, Easy."
The Ronso seemed dumbstruck, "four....that's...That's More than my last two years' hauls!"

The doors Swung open again, A large Figure strode into the Tavern. This Baanga wore a brown hide suit that had small metal ingots spaced fairly tightly on it. Each one a coil of a dark silver-ish wire, just like the two larger ones on his Fist-blade. He also had small glasses lens over his eyes to protect them from the flying sands, and a long, odd rifle on his back.
"Barrista!" the newcomer shouted in a Baritome voice, "...Here's two hundred Teals, a round on Me!"
All the patrons in the Drakefang gave a cheer for the local hero. The newcomer threw a small bag on the bar infront of the Baanga Barrista. Small blue-metal coins spilled onto the bar.
"He wears such a commodity over his eyes, He obviously does well on those blasted sands. How?" The Ronso pondered

--------~--*--~-------------

Somewhere in the skies above the border between the core and the Olbilarchy of Syn'sol, the sound of wind threashing could be heard even down through the valleys and ravines, Flocks and herds on the outer farms grow uneasy to a sound that men cannot hear: the distant beat of a dragon's wing....

Galthir'DaDaalon Flew high above in the Night skies, spying down below on his potential meals much like a man at a buffet. His crimson scales hidden by darkness and range. which one would I like tonight? He thought to himself, do I want the larger beast which tastes good, or the smaller overweight pink thing that's flesh tastes sweet?
The Dragon flew lower, closing in to the targets, Hmmm, The pink creature should saite my hunger tonight. He flew even lower, ripping the gate to the Pig's pen and scaring the pig awake and into a frantic run...
Hahahah! Run little Morsel, Run! Galthir thought as he flew slowly behind it.
Hahahah! enough with this game, or I shall have to doom another to get my fill. I *do* want some for later
Galthir Picked the pig off the ground in a single bite. The head came off and landed near the farmhouse spraying blood upon it's porch. Galthir'DaDaalon chewed on it for a bit as he flew back to the nests.

In a skyscraper in one of the core cities of adora’luna sits a disinterested young man. He has become a master of his own domain and dreams to learn the stories of the past that tell of a great warrior who could control the darkness as he can.

Ludovico Katien would recline in his leather chair. His amber eyes piercing the darkness that settled over his private study. He would wave his hand and a maid would come to his side. She wore a black dress that went to her thighs; a white apron adorned the dress giving her the typical gothic maid look that was so popular among the servant girls these days. Ludovico would smile as he remembered why he liked this particular outfit; sliding his hand down under her dress he would lead her in front of him. “you know your duties…don’t disobey your master” the girl would nod and slowly lower to her knees…

After he dismissed the maid Ludovico would summon the butler who gave him daily lessons. The man who came into the room had short slicked back silver hair and a monocle. “Yes master Ludovico what may I do for you this evening.” The older man had taught Ludovico much of what he knew, and now the boy wielded the power of darkness like few had ever dreamed of before him. He was now a master in his own right, not a scion of his father’s will.

“I would like to thank you for your years of service to me Roy, You have taught me so much and been like a father to me on many an occasion. It is with regret we must part ways now.” The poor old man had no chance to escape. Ludovico would raise his hand slightly and a fellhound would appear in the darkness. Standing he would point at the scared butler as he tried to open the locked door. he would stand silently as blood jutted across the room, splattering his face and painting a crimson picture on the window behind him….

--------------*~*~*------------------------

Upon a cliff sits another young man, his wings are bruised and bloodied and he cries wondering where he belongs in this harsh world…

Saith looked out from his perch on the precipice or a great stone tree, his bright golden eyes streamed tears as he pulled his wings in close to his body; they ached from many cuts and bruises. He was different. Human with bird like features living in a land of greater beasts. Natural selection he told himself. The weak die so the strong may live. A fresh bought of tears formed as he thought of his mother and father so many years ago. They had been killed in an attack on the Chozo Tribes main nest.

He had ran with the other children, finding refuge with clans that sympathized with the Chozo. But even then he wasn’t safe. The younger members of the tribes always hunted him for sport. It was one such hunt that left him as beaten as he was on this perch they couldn’t reach. He would stop sobbing long enough to look out over the land to the direction of Syn’sol.

Saith had heard stories of the Kingdom of light. How it was a land of understanding and freedom, That the creator of this world resided there. It was then that Saith thought of a plan… he would find a way to go and see the god of this world and ask if he truly belonged…or if he was just some mistake.

Somewhere in the Birth sands, near the boarder of Syn'sol a light dust cloud is raised, leading back far and high before being swept away by the notorious winds of the plains

The blaring sun beats down upon him like the hammer strike of a determined foe, thud thud thud the sound of his heart beating in his ears, the thrill of the run, air streaming through his fur, mane fluttering in the wind, massive paws tearing through the sands at an unnatural pace, weaving this way and that in playful patterns the snow white lion charged across the desert, heading for the boarder of Syn'sol, a large leather bound tube was strapped to his back as he throws his head back and lets out a thundering roar, to let the distant guards know of his approach,- Raq'De Yaeger, fastest courier in all the lands blew through the guard post without even the need of a Story with a derisive snort he thinks~ pfft not like they could catch me even if they wanted one~

The Crawling Beast capitol of Thul'zar, swarming with beast men of assorted tribes trying to hock their spoils to other tribes and sparse visitors from ethir sides of the world in the bazzar there is one different from the rest

The dark brown leathery skin pulls even tighter around his eyes as he examines a dagger Offered to him by a "skilled" Sand Naga smith, he tilts his head this way and that, silvery white dreadlocks decorated with gems and beads crinkle as they flow about his skinny but strangely muscular body, the old man grins lightly his massive steel mallet stood in place without his aid, the weighted head up, defying gravity as he flicks the steel blade lightly and watchs it crumple to his will giving the kind of insane laugh only an old man could produce "good steel?! its not fit to pick my teeth youngin!" he hands the mauled dagger back to the naga and flicks his hammer up over his shoulder walking on his way, much to the protests of said naga, though little would the naga know his cursing hisses were directed to the most powerful being in Thul'zar.

Somewhere in the steam punk urban aread of Adora'luna, in the alleyway between a titty bar and a liquor bar

She curled up tight, sobing into the remains of her skirt, eyes puffy red, she had been muged and raped though thankfully not killed though there is no wind she hears a soft fluttering and suddenly looks about scared before she locks eyes on what had made the noise He appeared as something of fantasy and myth, something that shouldn't exist in this horrible technological universe Top hat sported a crimson band and sprouted a head over flowing with perfect snow white hair, crimson eyes were fitted divinely into a masculinely male "sophisticated" face, he wore a suite with a long black trench coat, hanging at his him the ornate curved metals of his sabers hilt his voice is deep, predatoray and undeniably...sexy as he says "hush now child...what is the matter?" her eyes ceased their tears and lightly glazed over as she watch him, his hypnotic gaze calming and caressing her as he says "shhhh, come to me now" he holds out a gloved hand as she slowly rises to her feet in an almost zombie like trance "y-yes....master" he smirks and chuckles deeply as his cloak sweeps about her, they both dissapear ...without a trace

PostSubject: Re: Gentlemen & Hotties 6: The Genesis War   Gentlemen & Hotties 6: The Genesis War I_icon_minitimeWed Sep 16, 2009 2:01 am

Emily and Ash waited out in the central square for half an hour. Although the square was used by all that inhabited the complex, it was large enough that it felt like a private garden. There were four extravagant three-tiered fountains, in each direction symbolizing the four main elements, a small shrubbed maze in the middle and branching off the maze a series and rows of various blooming flowers and herbs, it was a small eden in the heart of the mage's living quarters.

It wasn't much longer before a large white wolf beast clad in a silvery-blue ninja like outfit with his 'small' hammer attached to his back came striding down the stone paved road. Ruby was carefully balanced on one of his shoulders, her legs lightly swaying back and forth over Donavan's shoulder, her tail swaying along his back causing the small bell that was tied to the tip of her tail to jingle. "Goodmorning", Donavan would softly growl in his deep husky voice as he waved to Emily, a fanged yet gentle smile on his face.

Ash's tail would wag slowly as they approached, his face lighting up as he saw Ruby. He would trot forward to meet up with them, "bye Emily...have a good day", he would call out as he waved, turning to look back over his shoulder.

Emily would smile and wave back, "have a good day Ash, and don't go giving your sensei a heart attack ok....", she would look to Donavan and Ruby and smile, waving, a silent 'hello'. *my my Ash, she's a cute one, you're gonna have your hands full with that spitfire* , she would think to herself. She would wait till they had turned down the road before turning herself, heading in the direction of headquarters where she worked.

As customary of the elite mages, Emily was in uniform, a black and red leather suit, red and gold accented bracers, side hipped armour with a cross-like emblem, and her weapon. Emily's choice of staff was in an attractive golden spear. Emily however was granted additional weapons due to her highly developed skill as a mage, granting her the twin katanas. It is a sign to the other mages of her status. Emily's long cape billowed behind her in the breeze with each heavy booted step as she walked through the streets of Syn'sol waiting to hear her orders for the day from her superior.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Meanwhile Donavan, Ash and Ruby were heading away from Syn'sol's main city, towards the outskirts... towards the 'slums'. The two younglings sitting upon their sensei's shoulder chatted about what they were to learn that day, whispering their stories about the strange woman that lived just off their training ground area.
"ya know she does't say much, she just glares if we stumble upon her land", Ruby would say looking over at Ash. "she's kinda scary.. I mean....how she dresses and then...", she would continue to say.
"Yea I know what you mean Ruby, she's covered in a lot of blood, what does she do over there, I'm curious but not that curious", Ahs would say before shivering a little from the thought of what could be going on.
Donavan would chuckle, his tone low, "don't tell me you two have been harassing miss Gwendalyne...", he would chuckle again, "she's just different from the other Humans, but as long as you don't bug her or get in her way....you'll live....", he would say glancing up at the pair. "afterall she granted me permission to use her land as part of the training grounds", he would say.
Both Ash and Ruby's eyes nearly bugged out of their heads, "really....wow, maybe we should look past all the sharp bones and blood", Ash would say only to have Ruby giggle, "Nah, she's still pretty scary Ash...".
Donavan would shake his head, "even if you knew she works for Emily, and helped me in battle before?", he smiled as that silenced the pair for the rest of their walk.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Sophie was standing in a darkened corner just out of reach of the massive blood splattering as she stood there emotionless as the butler was ripped apart by the summoned fellhound. Only the natural glow of her stark white hair gleamed in the pitch blackness of the room, her imbedded metallic harness was glowing a soft neon green and the attached wings pinned against the wall. Her eyes were fixated upon her 'master's face, waiting for instruction. Her arms unusable and lifeless hung loosely at her sides beneath her light gray renaissance maiden dress. Her gaze fell from Ludovico's face to the fellhound. Her harness that was permanantly a part of her back slowly began to hum, as it started to come alive and awaken. The soft green light glowed brighter. Her eyes began following the fellhound's every movement. *I want one* was what she thought as she watched. A dark and metallic clawed fingers and a forearm looking structure began to move up and over Sophie's back, reaching out towards the fellhound.

Gentlemen & Hotties 6: The Genesis War Empty
PostSubject: Re: Gentlemen & Hotties 6: The Genesis War   Gentlemen & Hotties 6: The Genesis War I_icon_minitimeWed Sep 16, 2009 2:05 am

It has been 2 hours since Cerberus started his drudge walk in the ruins; he was without a doubt lost. He past many structures that all had the same design on them depicting there love for all that was Syntarin. Every house he passed had some kind of painting depicting the Forge-Father in all his glory, protecting a herd of live stock, vanquishing the evil that roamed the lands, showing his wrath to the people who would disrespect him, and so on.

On one building in particular was a very large mural of a war between an ancient god and Syntarin, they covered most of the picture but what interested Cerberus the most was the forces fighting along side the two gods. It had seemed that the artist behind this mural thought that a huge war would break out between the gods and the people of the land would fight along side them. On Syntarins side were humes and creatures of every shape and size all wielding the power of magic and that of the old ways. On the side of this dark god was what appeared to be metal clad warriors just as odd looking as their enemies. They had weapons of which now a days would be called guns and the like, they were all shrouded in a dark aura that seemed to consume them and the land. Cerberus looked in awe at the mural for several minutes just lost in how this mural from a time long past was so close to the truth of this world.

Cerberus made his way to the middle of the city or what seemed like it, he had stumbled upon a old arch way that seemed to give off a hint of magic so he followed to see where it lead. Eventually he found his way to huge chamber with a door as big as the chamber itself. The door had a unique feeling to it, on it was yet again Syntarin but this time he looked more humble and peaceful then all the other paintings of him. Under his feet were ancient letters of the tribe that built this place it read (The entrance to death is walked by those who know of death itself). These words made Cerberus cringe for a second knowing all too well what they meant. He slowly opened the door, as it moved inch by inch; it let out a sound of wood cracking and stone breaking apart. As Cerberus opened the door enough to enter he wonders to himself. “Who could build such a thing and be forgotten just like the wind”.

As he enters the room a single ray of light shines through the ceiling fixed on an object on the floor. From the distance Cerberus is at he can not tell what the object is but he can sense something powerful in side of it. He makes his way to the object when a figure enters the light, it appears to be a man about 6’2 in height, the man appears to be almost naked only wearing a tattered cloth around his waist to form a skirt of some sort. The farther he entered the light the more Cerberus became horrified. He was covered in what appeared to be scales all over this body and on top of those countless scars from battles long past. His eyes were solid white and teeth as sharp as any wolf. The man just stood in the light bathing in its warmth, Cerberus tried to take a step back with out making any noise but the man already knew he was there. He began to speak in a very cold and raspy voice while still looking up at the hole in the ceiling.” I was not good enough for her, not good enough. You, YOU WONT TAKE HER AWAY FROM MEEEEEEEEEE”. After he finished screaming he charged at Cerberus. All Cerberus could do was block thee initial attack and stare at the monster face to face.

PostSubject: Re: Gentlemen & Hotties 6: The Genesis War   Gentlemen & Hotties 6: The Genesis War I_icon_minitimeWed Sep 16, 2009 2:08 am

It had been hours since Saith had decided to fly toward the light half of the world, his wings burning from the strain he put on their bruised forms. Spinning into a valley he would dive low long enough to catch another draft of warm air that sent him soaring skyward. His golden white wings flapped periodically as he kept his altitude. The wind felt good on his wounds and he would whisper a small healing incantation he had learned from one of the foster tribes that had cared for him. A faint blue light shimmered around him in the darkness of the night.

The next thing Saith knew he was plummeting to the ground the healing light had made him a clear target in the night sky, the bullet hole in his wing sending him toward the ground with crushing force. He could hear a faint whistling sound as air rushed through his wound ripping it open wider. He would scream just as he hit the sand the ground giving way, as he plummeted past the thin layer and onto a flight of stairs. Blood and bone chipped away as he tumbled down the steps and right into the middle of a battle between two shadowy figures, locked in viscous combat. It would be the last thing he saw before he blacked out from the pain.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
In the private study of Ludovico in the empire of Adora’Luna
Ludovico would raise his other hand toward Sophie his eyes piercing the darkness “you cannot have one of these Sophie… not yet” he had cared for the augmented young woman for sometime her powers fascinated him and he wished to study her to learn how she so skillfully controlled the machines under her command. But that would be for another time, straitening his tie he would step over the corpse of the butler and open the door to the rest of the house, a crew of maids rushed in to clean the mess.
“Come Sophie we have work to do elsewhere” ludovico would motion with his hand and wait for her outside of his study.
Sophie's gaze left the fellhound as the arm retracted and reformed back into their original state of being. She would take a cautious step forward before trotting in the direction of the opened doors, avoiding the maids as they hastily cleaned up the room. "ok", she would say softly once she had rejoined Ludovico. Once in the light outside the study, her eyes reflected back a reddish hue and her hair was even more remarkably white.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Meanwhile back in the outskirts of Syn'sol...

Gwendalyne, a warrior like woman who got along with most beast-kin, was outside, finishing up harvesting up some meat and bone. it was her side job when she wasn't employed by Emily. She would what have been called a butcher, only her specialty were much....much larger. It was for this that she told Donavan to keep the kids away while they trained in her fields, last thing she needed was a distraction and children were definately a big distraction and yet a strange part of her couldn't help but like them.

PostSubject: Re: Gentlemen & Hotties 6: The Genesis War   Gentlemen & Hotties 6: The Genesis War I_icon_minitimeWed Sep 16, 2009 2:16 am

Cerberus and the monster were in a deadlock staring at each other with malice ready to strike when any opening appeared. When all of a sudden a huge noise could be heard across the room, the monster loses his concentration just for a second and Cerberus takes thee advantage and kicks the monster back making him lose his footing. In an instant Cerberus guts the monster and the battle is over. He begins to draw the blade out of the corpse when it comes back to life and uses its left arm to lock Cerberus in place. It starts to speak once more. “Th….ank…you,….you..have..fre….ed..me..from.....my..past. take.. the.. bl..ade…with…you..it…will…give..you…great..po..wer(coughs up blood) hack cough..th…ank..you”. then the monster fell silent and his body went limp and fell to the floor.

Cerberus just stares at the corpse trying to understand what just happened; slowly he begins to look up at the object in light and limps over to it. When he reaches the light he can see clearly what it was. It was a Katana in its sheath; the sheath was colored black with black roses growing like it seemed all around the sheath, the roses were even more detailed they had green steams with white leaves growing out of the steams, the roses themselves were beautiful in there own way, each one had a white hue on the type of the rose petal and each petal had what seemed to be stars in is petals giving it a night sky feel to it. The hilt of the sword was in its own way unique color to it, black but white it was hard to describe, Cerberus thought to himself. He tried to unsheathe the blade but it was stuck, not willing to budge for anything he did to it. With what little strength he had left he focused it on the blade and in one final attempt he removed the blade, the blade shining in the light showed its true form. Like the sheath the blade was black and also had the same rose design on it but this time it was only one on each side and at the handle of the blade. Their was writing on the side of the blade, the language it was in was impossible for Cerberus to read, the letters were worn out and almost faded off the blade, but besides that the blade was perfectly fine.

Cerberus was about to sheath the sword when someone started to speak to him.” You who have unsheathed me I thank you.” The voice that he heard sounded feminine, enticing making him lose him self in the voice. “For killing that monster and setting me free I will grant you the use of my body and hopeful you will not disappoint me like the last master I had. Well till we meet again giggle.” Then the voice just disappeared leaving Cerberus in a dead quiet state, he could hear nothing all, all was quiet. After a couple more seconds of examining the blade, he put it back into its sheath and tied the sword to his waste and went over to where he heard the noise come from earlier.

Cerberus begins to walk over to the sound which he is startled to find a man on the floor which surprises him more is the guy has wings coming out his back. Cerberus examines the man but his vision is getting blurry, it seems the wound has gotten worse on his leg, so he knows he is at his limits. Cerberus looks at the man as well as he can and sees that one of his wings was shot, he thinks to himself “well no wonder hell fell from the ceiling must have been flying and someone shot him down. Well might as well patch him up might need his help getting out of here.” Cerberus lifts up the man and gently puts him on the side of the wall so he can patch up his wings. As Cerberus works on the man he notices that the man is not human at all more of a beast man, as a wanderer he has seen many a beast man but this is the first time seeing one with wings like this. After fixing up the young man he sets him down on some cloths he had in his backpack, he also takes out some fire wood he had in there for in occasion, for as you learn as a wanderer you never now when you might need it. So he sets up a fire and puts the man close enough to get some warmth and sits down and just watches the flames as the dance in the night.

The Dust cloud dies away now as he finds his paws thudding upon grasses instead of the coarse sands the sounds of cracking bones, stretching and shifting tendons as the blur of a white lion began to slow and then suddenly leaps up to 2 legs, he was panting some now, massive legs propelling him forward still incredibly fast, massive muscles flex and shimmer as he begins to shrink fur gives way to skin, before soon the naked man is running through the fields, a small ring pierced his ear, it sparkles some and hes enveloped in layers of desert traveling clothes, the all important tube still following his spine as he eases down from his dead sprint into a walk, panting heavily into his mask as he stares ahead to the city with his blue/green mottled eyes following the main travel road he waves lightly to other travelers as he admires the sprawling city mutteirng to himself "Donovan something....god what was that name..." he reaches back and grabs the tube, pulling it forward he hefts it in his hands some, it weighed roughly 30 pounds or heavier, he grumbles some looking for the name "Donavan Silvertongue" as he says that the package shudders some, he quirks his eyebrows "what the..." giving his head a shake, it wasn't his place to even guess, he straps it back across his back as he sets off at a light trot, a bangle about his wrist glows, a little blue ball of energy floats into the air in front of him and leads him towards the recipient

~+~-~+~-~+~-~+~-~+~-~+~-~+~-~+~-~+~-~+~-~+~-~+~-~

His head whips back in a fury of snow white curls, his top hat abandoned as he growls deeply, the bright crimson of his eyes slowly lessens as he groans, wiping the blood from the side of his mouth as he eyes the poor abused girl, he had almost drained her, fighting off his hunger to let her live...to be turned....to be his slave, his minion he lightly grins saying "mmmm...Isabella....that was delicious....the pain will receed soon...when you wake...join me in my chambers" his voice commanding without a raising of tone, he smiles and softly pets the corpses cheek, adiministering the commands of a maker as he kisses the bites, they seal up and he takes his gloves off, tossing them twards a table, looking about at his grandiose tower, he heads off twards a heavy iron laden, door, venturing inside he sighs happily at the windowless room set only with another door and a MASSIVE bed that could EASILY sleep him and 7 more girls Isabella's size, he smirks and lets out a blood curdling cackle that floats out among the citizens of the town...All knew Gabriel Baron...all Feared him with that he walks to the bed, the heavy door closing with a eerie creak and no signs of him touching it.

Gentlemen & Hotties 6: The Genesis War Empty
PostSubject: Re: Gentlemen & Hotties 6: The Genesis War   Gentlemen & Hotties 6: The Genesis War I_icon_minitimeWed Sep 16, 2009 2:38 am

Se'Gandu picked a dark corner of the tavern to unwind, to ease his thoughts of recent events. The smoke was a little thicker in this part, as none of the ports were opened, and the one port-cullis was on the other end of the Hall. He watched wisps of smoke wreath into unfathomed shapes, and icons of haunting memories. The shapes reminded him of events in his past, one such event, more recent than most, still hung heavy in his Mind.....

The main star's light was more than blinding. Even closing the eyes could not spare the searing pain as light bore through the retina. The sands themselves acted mirror to further torment all who were caught in the Midday sun of the northern threshhold. The heat boiled the sweat before it left the brow and the burning sand cauterized the soles of feet and hand whenever possible.

Se'gandu was caught out in such a sunstrom. His sheathed blade stuck painfully to his side, and his wastelander garb could not stave off such heat. He remembered thinking one could cook a Kodon egg off a rock in a matter of seconds out there. He remembered thinking he was going to Die.

He Remembered a Hume shadow saving his sight for a moment, before waking within a Nearby cave. Technology covered the insides of the cave with the intracatcy of organics. Even he could determine that it was far beyond Adora'luna Capibility. A Large, roughly humanoid, bipedal machine aimed a long tube weapon at him, small green orbs contained in tubes glew menacingly.

He heard a voice. It was somewhat baritome and mechanical, And the words It spoke where Harsh and quickly spoken. He looked up, The outline of the figure was like a Hume, but the figure was entirely Mechanical even more complicated and bizzarre than he could imagine. It's Shell and Chasis were smooth, as if the metal had been molded rather than carved. The metal was a silverish-dark green he never saw in a metal before.

"I do not understand what you are saying, who are you?" Se'Gandu shouted at this strange being. The being raised one 'finger' over Se'Gandu's Brow. A jolt of electricty ran through Se'Gandu, as he felt every nerve flex.

The Machine Hesitated, then spoke again; this time Se'gandu could understand him.

"Who are you?" The Machine inquired, "...and to whom are you aligned?"

"I am called Se'Gandu, I am a mercanary who lives in the wastes of the birthsands." He replied. "What are you?"

The machine Looked at the other, lesser Droid. The droid lowered It's weapon and the glow died down. "I am War-droid model X3LE2T69, My old friends called Xaiver" The more advanced of the machines replied, "..and this is my domain."

Se'gandu Followed 'Xavier' down the corridor into the main room which was filled with an array of Hyper-lunan Technology. The were four other 'Guards',
The machines that were Roughly humanoid and obvoiously covered in armor. He noticed that the paint scheme was different on each one.

"You were asleep for a few days..." Xavier began to speak, "...If memory sevres me right that's not usually a good thing for Biologics."

"I feel okay,..." Se'Gandu began, "....I just would like to know where my Gear went when I....."

Se'Gandu stopped, He had to when he saw the mural on the main room's ceiling.

It was Greatfather Syn, standing at shoulder with this 'Xavier' and another he did not recognize. The original cieling from the cave was Carved away to show this, rather than covering it as it was in any other room thus far. This mural was not like he had seen before, not a mythic figure on his throne. This seemed more like a fond memory.

"What's that?" Se'Gandu asked

"Ahhh...." Xavier began, "That is what I did in my first ten years of waiting, I carved that mural of myself, Syntarin and Ark. What is that word that was used? oh yes, family"

"How old are you?" Se'gandu wondered.

"By your calender, a few thousand years." Xavier anwsered.

"That cannot be! The creation myths are from only a thousand years ago." Se'gandu Protested

"Those Creation Truths occurred one thousand thirty eight years, seven months and four days ago. I am not from this planet, but the one before." Xavier stated, looking at Se'Gandu to watch his reaction, "Do not tell of my existance lightly, only tell whomever you deem worthy or if you cannot avoid it; promise me this."

"I understand" Se'gandu replied.

"if these Dragons of your lore were really made by Syntarin himself, I shall seek them out when I am ready." Xaiver Stated, "I understand how dangerous things have become for you. Not just because your home is the likely battlefeild between the two sides, but I need to use you."

"What!?" Se'gandu protested

"I need to Agitate Adora'luna for my plans to move forward. I will need to become a rumor that they will take interest in. All you have to do is to continue your path, but take these gifts. People will wonder of the origins, if I am right, and that might raise flags as it were" Xavier Continued

"Why me?" Se'Gandu asked

"You are neutral with both sides, and I cannot waltz out when the cards are against my favor, Either they will destroy me or take me lightly" Xaiver replied "Spread my rumor"

Se'gandu was stirred from his daydream, a Ronso stood before his table. The Ronso looked down at him, "You there, Baanga" He said, "How do you do so well on the wastes?"

Se'Gandu finished the last dreggs of his brew, Slamming the mug down he spoke. "I have advanced gear, and the chance to train with it. Let me tell you, however, of the crafter; a Master machinist that lives in the North of the Wastes..."

The Ronso Scoffed, "The north?, why would there be one so close to a land that forbids it?"

Se'Gandu Ignored the comment, "...he lives in a plataeu's cavern, and every wall and room is filled with devices, and gadgets that would make any Adora'lunan envious. He lives in the Blinding Band"

"This is a farce you speak," The Ronso shouted, storming off, "No one goes to the Blinding Band, no less Live there!"

Se'Gandu simply smiled.

PostSubject: Re: Gentlemen & Hotties 6: The Genesis War   Gentlemen & Hotties 6: The Genesis War I_icon_minitimeWed Sep 16, 2009 2:40 am

Somewhere in the woods of Syn'sol, near the border of Ronso land a falcon is perched in the highest tree as if on lookout. Head tilts and wings spread out. With two swift beats it rises into the air with a cry.

Anall'ana opened her eyes to the call of her friend. She had been keeping watch below. The Shifters were about to gather. Taking her hands she takes her black hair and rushes in putting it up. They would be expecting her but she knew they would wait like they always did. Her eyes scanned the lands for the signs of trouble. The falcons cry was right over her now. Anall'ana you must hurry. Cron will be mad if you are late again. She bore news that the others needed to know and she hated being told what to do. "On my way Han'ath. Just need to finish here." With that she leaned down and touched the dry patch of earth. After a second it began to grow green and the young sapling began to grow. It had been next to a tree that had fallen after it died. When she was done she made her way through the woods and to the clearing to where the others were.

"You almost were late Anall'ana." Cron said as he took his spot next to the last empty one. "What news do you have to share with our council?"

Anall'ana came and took her seat. "The old Etny tree fell to the south. No sign of disease or other tampering. The lands of the Ronso's have been a little quiet lately as well. I have been preparing for my time away from the woods. I hope to be able to find out more about our missing shifters."

Cron turned to her as the others just listened. "I know this will be hard. You are the only one that I trust for this task."

Looking at the others she nodded then stood up. "I won't let any of you down. My life revolves around these woods and those that are in it." She placed her fist over her heart as she looked at them all. "I pledge to not come back until I know the answers."

The others stood from their seats and raised their fists over their hearts as well. "May Syn watch over all your steps and bring you and the others safely back to our woods."

***************************************

Kai'len woke as she heard the people below preparing the morning meal. Takkell was a small town and the only place she knew that people had a hard time finding her. Especially when she really needed the rest. Standing up she fixed her leather bracers on her wrists. Her bare feet made no noise as she walked over to the bowl and poured the cold water into it. Splashing some on her face, then a little in her hair to spike it a little she put the bowl with the rest of the water on the floor for her white furred companion. She grabbed her belt and put it on then positioned the hip shield. "Finish your water then we will find our meal Mayda. Who knows what this day will hold or what we are going to need to do." She grabbed her cloak and put it on so that it hid her sword that was on her back and anything that said she was a mercenary. When done she decended the steps with her wolf behind her. Out the door she felt the bright sun as she walked down a little path to a small bar.

Donavan and his two young pupils were coming up to the long winding pathway lined with rich vegetation on either side that lead up to their open training area. Donavan would stop and set the two down, "alright, the first one to make it to the bell gets to select the first training exercise", he would instruct. Ash and Ruby gave each other a look of 'good luck' before turning, readying themselves for the sprint. "On my count.....1....2.....3!” he would give a quick howl and watch the two takes off.

Gwendalyne was seated on a small stool under the only large shade tree near her home cleaning and sharpening her blades when she heard the howl a good mile away. "Oh...good....at least he warned me this time", she would shake her head and take a deep breath preparing for the furry brats to run by.

Donavan gave the two a head start before he followed after them, he yelled up to them, "keep your eyes open and always be thinking ahead, you never know what kind of surprises are waiting....", he would say.

"Yes Poppa.......yes Sensei", the two would call back, Ruby was in a slight lead but not by much as Ash was right on her heels, teasing her as he flicked her bell, letting her know just how close he was.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Once Sophie's eyes adjusted to the change of light, she looked around for Ludovico, but he was nowhere to be seen. It was no surprise to how well Ludovico could evade and seem to vanish at will. She turned and looked up and down the hallway for one last good measure before turning and going off on her own. Leaving the skyscraper that Ludovico called home she would travel along the streets, her ever watchful eyes scanning and staring at the bright neon lights and railways that carried citizens of the upper city to and from. She would walk by various shops selling goods looking through the display windows to see what was offered and move onto the next. However Sophie had traveled to an area that she had never been down before and found a store selling...of all things.....AI robots. She stood outside on the sidewalk watching the TV screen show all that these personalized AI's could do and how far the creation of AI's had come. A store clerk had spotted Sophie standing outside for over 30 minutes and came to the window, pointing for Sophie to come inside.
Sophie would look over at the young man, her eyes glowing red for a minute as she processed what he was doing and then shook her head 'no' and then turned and began to walk away, *cheap imitations* she would think to herself. *I'd like to meet someone who could do better than me*
Saith would awaken to the sound of wood cracking, the heat of the fire brushing off his skin in waves. He could feel the sweat and blood on his skin as he sat up, the sheets he had been laying on covered in feathers and blood stains. Flexing his good wing he would examine the other, it was crudely bandaged but the bleeding had been for the most part stopped. He had not died.
“e-excuse me?” he would say uneasy as he saw the man sitting across from him by the fire. “did you do this?” pointing at his bandaged wing he would look hopeful. If this man had saved him he owed him his life.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Ludovico would turn a corner in the building and head into an elevator. Slowly the little box would travel to the top of the skyscraper. With a ding it would stop. Stepping out ludovico would kneel, before him sat the emperor of Adora’Luna.

The room he found himself in was modeled after a traditional Japanese dojo, one wall was lined with various weapons and the floor was covered in tatami mats. The emperor sat on his knees hands resting on his legs as he sat his helmet looking sightlessly back at Ludovico.

“You have done well so far Ludovico…your learning to control your power…I am to believe you are here to learn how to further your abilities?” the emperor’s voice was calm as he spoke to the blood covered youth. “to gain power you must go farther than any other human on this planet…to give into the abyss completely is no small feat…can you do it?”

“I shall do anything in order to better serve you Master…”

As the man began to speak Cerberus slowly looked up at him across the fire, after the man finished asking his question the only sound that was heard for awhile was the cracking of timber in the fire. As Cerberus looked at him with is right eye for his left was covered by is unkempt hair, he felt as if the man was full of fear or admiration he could not tell which. Cerberus began to speak to the man “Yeah I was the one who patched up that wing of yours, lest I could do. You helped me get the advantage in the fight so this is my way of thanking you. Names Cerberus, but you can call me Cerb if you want.” As Cerberus finished talking he pulled out his flask and took a swig from it and sighed.
“ So what’s your name bird boy”.

Saith would flinch at the words ‘bird boy’ but he would sit up as best he could. “I’m the emissary of the Chozo race, my name is Saith, I was on my way to Lord Syntarin to plead for my race’s lives…that is before I was shot down” he would look away from Cerberus ashamed that he had failed in his mission so soon after its start. “t-thank you for saving me Cerberus…I owe you my life”

Cerberus saw the boy flinch from the words bird boy. He felt sorry for the boy, he new what it was like all to well but he knew better then to show weakness so he kept his cold attitude toward the boy. “I am sorry I know what it is like to be alone or better yet hunted. Still a Chozo Ha, have not heard from them in a long time must be really bad for you guys if they are sending a boy like you to go to the sacred city to plead for help. Still you should have been more aware of your surroundings in the air, flying come on easy target bird boy.” As Cerberus stops talking he takes another swig from his flask letting the cool liquid sooth his throat. He sighs again and slowly his gaze goes back to the flames, he just sits there watching them dance in the night. “ So what know boy what next”.

Saith’s golden eyes would glimmer in the flames, for this had been the longest anyone outside his tribe had taken time to talk to him, with no beating in sight he would grow slightly more comfortable. “I repay my debt to you…and then I suppose we go our separate ways?” his words where all he had to say as to the future. He’d stick by this man until their path’s deviated and he was left alone once more. “c-can I ask what you were doing here? I saw a fight” his eyes would wander to the body not to far from them. “did he deserve death?”

Cerberus looks up at Saith as he finishes his question, he gives off a small laugh” haha deserved death, haha boy no one has the right to answer that question, but for me well, I saved him. Before he died he thanked me, thanking me for setting him free, from what I don’t know and why I don’t care”. As Cerberus finished talking he yet again took another swig from his flask, this time he looked at the flask after drinking and looked at the boy. “Most people think they have the justice to take lives, others do it because of an order or something along those lines. And then there are the few who do it because they love the feel of death. To me those are just excuses no one has the right but all have the power, its those who chose what to do with their power that make this world what it is. As for me I killed that man to protect myself is that really bad or just another excuse”. As he finishes talking he stares at the fire wondering about his past. “As for why I am here, well I fell through a hole in the sand and just wandered around until I ended up here, that about it”.

Gentlemen & Hotties 6: The Genesis War Empty
PostSubject: Re: Gentlemen & Hotties 6: The Genesis War   Gentlemen & Hotties 6: The Genesis War I_icon_minitimeWed Sep 16, 2009 3:00 am

It was busy as Liniara walked through the bazaar and looked at the goods that were there. Nothing really caught her eye as she was stopped by a few sellers. She skipped along at times when there was no one near by and soon saw one that she knew. She slowly moved closer to the man and smiled. She was her happy self and her eyes showed it all the time. A few more steps and she would have snuck up on him. He had been busy telling a sand naga that his steel was worth nothing. She put a hand to her mouth as if she was laughing over it too. She though turned her head at the naga and focused. Sending him from a cursing idiot to very calm and relaxed. Smiling again she turned to try and sneak up on her friend. Right behind him now she wondered if he would notice her before she had time to act.

Kai'len sat in a booth with her companion now at her feet. She had ordered her meal and now just waited for it to come. She was keeping quiet even when she heard a Ronso bellow out to a another about the Blind Band. Shaking her head she took a drink and stayed quiet. There was no need for a merc like her to seek out trouble. It usually sought out her. Laying a hand on her white furred friend she relaxed but never smiled. Mayda looked up at her and knew she was on the look out from her spot on the floor.

"Hey, there are no animals allowed in my tavern!" A heavy set man yelled as he came over to her table.

"Pardon me but if there are no animals allowed then you should learn to keep other beasts out too. Mayda stays and there will be no fuss." Kai'len looked hard at the man. His eyes bulged but then stopped once he saw a glimpse of her sword that was next to her. "I need some meat for my companion as well as the food I ordered. Make sure it isn't old scraps that would get her sick because if it is then you will have to deal with me." Her eyes blazed when she looked at him as if to challange what he would do next.

"Right away. No need for trouble." He muttered as he walked away from the table then let some curses flow out of his mouth about women who didn't know their place.

Mayda looked at her master then the guy and growled softly.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
It was dark as she woke and tried to look around. To long had it been that she had and her powers gone as well. At least the ones her mate had given her. Her other powers though still existed. Sighing she got up to search for her mate and her daughter. Everything had changed so much and now there was need of doing something. Yet she didn't know what. Sighing she sat down again and looked around her. She didn't know where anyone was at first but would look again.
Saith would look away, his eyes glowing faintly as his face fell into shadow. Rubbing his sore arms he would sigh. “I hope one day I’ll know what it means to fight for something…” Saith would look down at his hands, his fingers were like claws, each digit had strong steel like protrusions creating talons. Willing it away the claws would sink back into his hand. “One day I’ll be like you Cerberus”
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Gabranth would sigh heavily as he walked into the main council chamber. The circular room was crafted with white marble, the walls lined with magical projections of distant battlefields. In the center of the room sat a wide stone table. Several men stood around the table as Gabranth approached; each saluting with their right hand pressed to their chest.

Walking to his place at the table Gabranth would remove his helmet and place it on the table before saluting to the gathering. “High Inquisitor Gabranth, a pleasure for you to join us…” Mythias would say looking at Gabranth from across the table. Mythias was an older man, one of the few Godborn wing bearers in Tels’vena. He was the head of Syn’sol’s Military at one time but had since retired to the council as a master strategist for the kingdom. He was also one of Gabranth’s only friends.

“it is always an honor to sit in this council master Mythias. As you all know my work keeps me away from my duties at this table.” Gabranth’s piercing blue eyes would scan the men at the table with unwavering intensity.

“yes well…as you know High Inquisitor, reports of taint in the capital have made a few of us question your… resolve in your ‘work” this man was known as Master Grea Fawkes, head of the magi-librarium. A bitter old fool who often claimed he had mastered the arcana Magika, of the twelve schools of magic. he now sat as the headmaster of the most prestigious school in the kingdom’s capital.

Gabranth’s eyes would narrow slightly before he became an emotionless mask once more. “I am one man…but I am training a disciple, he shows much promise.” The wound Grea had given Gabranth would not soon be forgotten. But as members of the council this was to be expected.

“I must leave this meeting to meet my disciple in the training yard…I will present him to you as he comes closer to his trail of faith my lords.” Gabranth would return his helmet to mask his face and swiftly leave the council chamber.

After listening to what Saith said Cerberus immediately looked up at him, as his eyes meet Saiths he remember a scene from his past, it was in Syn’sol he couldn’t remember the buildings around him or in front of him but he remembered the little girl standing in front of him talking to him, she was about 10 years old, had long black hair and had eyes of green. She was speaking to him “Cerb, Cerb. Come on teach me that technique it was so cool. Come on come on teach me.” As the girl finished talking Cerberus’s mind went back to the conversation at hand. Still looking at Saith he began to speak “You want to be like me, you want to be like me Saith. I have never meet anyone that wanted to do that but if you are willing to learn I will teach you all that I now. I used to be a lot different but things happened and people change, I am not as strong as I used to be and well lets just say its going to take time to teach you everything but if you are willing to learn I will gladly teach you. As for what to fight for that is something only you can answer, when the time is right you will know and when you do, you will be stronger then ever.” After Cerberus was done talking he just stared at Saith, he felt something deep within him that he thought had long since died. He was not ready he thought to himself to teach someone again but he knew that this would help him as much as it would help Saith. His eyes would slowly go back to the fire and he would take a slow sip from his flask thinking all the while.

Ana'llana had traveled farther than she had ever traveled in her lifetime. She hadn't really seen anyone but heard some noises from below. In a way she wished she had a companion to travel with. She had been walking on sand most of the time and now was hating it. She took a sip from her bota and then stood in one place to determine which way she was going to go. All she could see was sand, sand and more sand. When she went to move she found she couldn't. Before she could even think of how to get free, she had sunk further and was now falling down. She hit hard against rocks and gave a startled cry. Her hand to her side she tried to get up and adjust her eyes to see in the dark. when she finally was able to see she saw that she had gotten herself into an old ruin. Slowly standing she winced again as she held her side. Taking a few steps she didn't know how to get out or where to go so she chose a direction and started to walk. Some how she would find a way out. She thought she had heard voices so was careful in what she did. Shifting in this building could be deadly for all.
