Race Codex------------------------Syn'Solian Entry I

Name: Eldmong

Classification: Druid

Standard Lifespan: 500+ years

Region: The Silent Wood

Racial Traits: Highly in-tuned with nature and magic

Racial Crafting preference: Alchemy and Herbalism

The Eldmong are said to be tree's brought to life by will of nature. when the land wished to speak with humekind it created the Eldmong. incredibly wise and powerful the Eldmong have only risen to anger when the land is directly threatened. some say that the Eldmong are the reason the inhabitants of Syn'sol are so nature conscious.

Name: Welkinmong

Classification: Druid, Ranger.

Standard Lifespan: 350+ years

Region: Spirit Spires

Racial Traits: Highly in-tuned with nature, strong in magic

Racial Crafting preference: Leatherworking, Wood craft


The Welkinmong are the young Humekind defiled offspring of the Eldmong. They take after the Hume mostly in appearance with small agile bodies but keen, almond eyes with vision like a hawk. With their Eldmong side, they are powerful with magic though not so much as the Eldmong. As well they inherited the Eldmong wisdom. though Welkinmong can reporduce naturally they can also be born from a Hume female through a mystic ritual done only every 50 years with the Pithseed of a Eldmong ancient(400 years and older). The Welkinmong are very secretive people, living in the spirit spires only powerful magic users or creatures with the power to fly can reach.

Appearance: Welkinmong are hume-like in appearance with only minor differences. their skin tends to be earth toned rather then pinkish in the males though hume skin tones aren't uncommon. while females have no skin tone differences that set them apart from the Hume, there are small facial markings of unique shapes and colors similar to the splotching on spotted flowers around the under side of the eyes or on the forehead and the back of the hand that begin to show during the late stages of puberty around the age of 40. as for the males as they grow older the eyes change into multiple colors and swirl into unique keleidascope patterns of 2-3 colors, in some rare cases 4.

Name: Ungulataur's or as some races call them "Uglytaurs" ( insultive )

Classification: Mage/ Druid

Standard Lifespan: 300+

Region: The Forgotten Forest

Racial Traits: what they lack in harmony with nature, they make up for it with the knowledge of necromancy.

Racial Crafting Preference: Crafters/ Tinkerers/ Borrowers

Not much is known about the Ungulataurs since they live deep within the Forest, often using their magic to conceal their homes from outsiders that wander too close. They are sort of like a secret myth/ legend to the Syn'solians a story to keep children from wandering too far from the comforts of home.
